Welcome to the Cynon Uchaf Ministry Area

We are a group of eight Anglican (Church in Wales) churches serving the communities of Aberdare, Abernant, Cwmdare, Trecynon, Llwydcoed, Rhigos, Hirwaun and Penywaun at the upper end of the Cynon Valley in South Wales.

Our mission statement is Worshipping God, Welcoming All, Serving Community and Creation. This guides all that we do, as we seek to praise and glorify God in worship, welcome everyone without distinction to our churches, and serve the communities around us, as well as safeguarding God's creation.
